Coffea arabica 'nana'

  • Coffea arabica 'nana'
per 10 seeds

Common name:
Dwarf Arabica coffee

The dwarf variety of the Arabica coffee is even more suited to produce your own coffee. The plant stays small and starts producing its first berries after 3 or 4 years. These are just like the ones of the common Arabica, but grow on a smaller plant. Ideal for your living room.

You can remove the fruit flesh of the harvested berries, so only the seeds remain. Then you can dry these and remove the shell (which will loosen up a bit). Roast on a fire or in frying pan, and you’ll have your own coffee beans! Protect the plant against bright sun and water regularly.

Germination instructions:
First soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours. Then sow them with the flat side down in sowing mix. Let them germinate at 25 degC and keep the soil constantly moist.

Sowing time:
All year round

Expected processing time: 2 days
